He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Pitts and Pearl Pitts (Jenkins). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Pitts (Horn); his children, Corky Pitts, John Pitts, Mikel Pitts, Delbert Raps, Rosalie Newkirk (Robert), Quenta Webster Treasa Horstman (Michael) and Vickie Shoemaker (Robert); and his grandchildren, Anthony Pitts Fugate, Travis Pitts, Jeremy Pitts, Josh Pitts, Justin Newkirk, Jason Newkirk, Derrick Marcotte, Ashley Coward, Ryder Pitts, Rylee Horstman, Amy Raps, Daniel Raps, Aaron Raps and Bettina Shoemaker. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
