He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Thompson and Bernice Thompson (Lee); and his brother Frederick Thompson. He is survived by: his son Taurean Thompson of Columbia; and his siblings, George Thompson of St. Louis, Connie Wright of Fulton, Freddie Jackson (Larry) of Mexico, Joyce Thompson of Fulton, Mary Galbreath of Fulton and Janet Freelon (Rex) of Columbia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
