He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Raines (Pickering) and Oren Lee Raines; his wife Betty Wickell; and his siblings, Jim, Joyce and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Raines (Annette) and Deborah Raines (Bill Boyson); his grandsons, Nick Raines (Reba), Matthew Heitner (Heather) and Jesse Heitner; and his great grandchild Miranda Raines. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
