She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dunavant and Gladys Dunavant (Grimm); her former spouse Wood Clark; her husband Raymond Newman Jr.; and her siblings, William Dunavant Jr., Homer Dunavant, Bobby Dunavant, Ralph Dunavant, Kenny Dunavant, Wallace Dunavant and Fay Zillig.
She is survived by: her sons, Charlie Clark (Sarah Alberts), Larry Clark (Melody), Jeff "Jelly" Newman (Marlo) and Lance Newman; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Dunavant and Mary Dunavant-Deloney; and her grandchildren, Shannon Walters (Keith), Matt Clark, Hilary DeMarco (Paul), Joshua Newman (Makayla Litty), Kristen Murray, Hannah Newman (Levi Mealy), Ashton Gaboury (Joe), Taylor Newman (Steven Shireman) and Lyndsey Newman. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
