He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Cave (Corley) and W. Cave; his wife Betty Sue Cave (Guerrant); and his siblings, A. J. "Chig" Cave, W. L. "Tommy" Cave, W. "Dick" Cave, Woodrow Cave, John R. "Bill" Cave, Mary M. Cave, Hattie Locke, Edna Schreen, Rubye Starks, Katherine Wilson, Helen Leet and Beulah Belle McCubbin.
He is survived by: his son Dr. Kyle R. Cave (Carolyn); and his sister Norma Jean Dozier of Dallas.
