She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Zessin and Deloris Zessin. She is survived by: her siblings, Judy and Jeff; her husband Pete; her pet Charli; her children, Angela (Mike), Tony (Lisa), Katie (Zach) and Marcus; and her grandchildren, Korbyn, Khiley, Emma, Noah, Ethan, Ada, Hank and Charlie.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McGilley State Line Chapel (12301 State Line Rd, Kansas City, MO 64145). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
