We bid farewell to Ethel M. Helmkamp of Freistatt, Missouri, born in Lockwood, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 16, 2024 at the age of 94. Ethel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Haubein and Ida Haubein (Buente); her husband James Helmkamp; and her brothers, Arden Haubein, Lawrence Haubein and Wilbur Haubein.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Helmkamp (Barbara) of Parker, CO and Jane Blevins (James); her granddaughters, Amalia Magness (Trevor) of Madison, WI and Sophia Helmkamp of Idaho Falls, ID; and her great grandchild Edgar Magness.
Memorial contributions have been requested in lieu of flowers to the Trinity Lutheran Church or Trinity Lutheran School in care of the funeral home.
