He is survived by: his wife Sandra Phifer; his stepsons, Patrick Klaus of Freeman, MO and Brian Klaus of Roseburg, OR; his siblings, Steven Craig Phifer (Ramsey) of Newburgh, IN, Anthony "Tony" Dean Phifer (Kathy) of Ft. Collins, CO, Terri Haas of LaPorte, CO and Paula Ann Phifer of Greeley, CO; his grandchildren, Jeff Klaus, Courtney Gregg, Josh Klaus and Kelsey Klaus; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Kalinka and Tristan Howard.
