It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lee Funk of Freeman, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Funk and Mildred Funk (Collins); his wife Patricia "Trish" Hanks; his children, Hilary and George Funk (Jocelyn) of Harrisonville; his sister Dottie Gentry (Steven) of Grandview; and his sister-in-law Lynne Koestner (Mark) of St. Louis. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made payable to the Knights of Columbus Council #12437.
