Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Russian and Mary Russian (Schountz); and his son Dennis Russian. He is survived by: his wife Johnna Russian; and his children, Carol Jameson, Lisa Jordan, Jamie Russian, Mark Russian (Tammy) and Robert Russian (Susan). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Brenner Mortuary (114 E 4th St, Pittsburg, KS 66762). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (109 E 9th St, Pittsburg, KS 66762).
