She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin Eden and Lola Alice Eden (Goade); her husband Paul Gibbens; her son Jerald L. Hartman; and her sisters, Edie Lafoon, Betty Ford and Dorothy Hood.
She is survived by: her former spouse Jerry Hartman; her daughter Jerlyn K. Jones (Sam); her brothers, Roy Eden (Nancy) and James Eden; her brother-in-law Mike Ford; and her grandchildren, Kyle Hartman, Justin James and Jackie Jones. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
