He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Samuel Welling and Vera Angel Welling (Gascon). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Welling (Bagby); his children, Mandy Kroupa (Daniel) of Columbus, Georgia, Levi Welling (Mary Lou) of Yulee and Gabe Welling (Ellen) of Joplin; his grandchildren, Macey Kroupa, Danaleigh Kroupa, Archie Welling, Arthur Welling, Wally Welling and Theo Welling; and his sisters, Alice of Wellington and Teresa Morris (Rob) of Claremore, Oklahoma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the family to help with final expenses.
