Charles Bettis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2021, Charles Bettis in Freeman, Missouri, born in Seneca, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Bettis; his son-in-law Dan Phyfer; his sisters, Dorothy Taylor, Mary Ellen Black and Helen Kuhn; and his nephew Larry "Butch" Kuhn.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, LaVeta Phyfer of Williamsville and Wayne Bettis (Monica) of Seneca; his grandson Jesse Bettis (Briana) of Joplin; his sister Nancy Brown (Floyd "Jerry") of Cedar Hill, Missouri; and his nieces and nephews, Gloria Jean Hodgson, Kathy Cameron (Jim), Phyllis Davis, Jerry Black (Dottie), Tom Kuhn (Pat) and Denny Kuhn (Judy).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Teen Challenge of Neosho care of Parker Mortuary.
