With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal (Brown) Parks (Freeburg, Missouri), who passed away on February 10, 2018 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brown and Ora Brown; her husband Wayne Parks; her son Steven Hassell; her sisters, Mary Jane McFadden, Lillie Plowman, Donna Johnson and Betty Smith; and her granddaughter Stephanie Hassell.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Becker (Paul) of Millstadt, IL; her daughter-in-law Robin Turner of Hillsboro, MO; her stepson Dennis Parks (Sandra) of House Springs, MO; her siblings, Richard Brown (Nadine) of Ellsinore, MO, Thomas Brown (Trula) of Piedmont, MO, Eugene Brown of Ellsinore, Arden Brown (Barb) of Lonedell, MO, Roger Brown of Ironton, MO, Maggie Thorsland (Bill) of Leeper, MO and Pam Hanners (Robert) of Morse Mill, MO; and also Clyburn. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
