He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Harmon and Audrey Jewell Royer (Means); his sons, John Mark and James Henry Royer; his grandson Josh Royer; and his siblings, Charles, Paul Dean, Lee Gale, Howard Royer (Joyce) of Fredericktown and Linda Starkey.
He is survived by: his children, David Royer of Fredericktown, Gary Royer (Janie) of Fredericktown, Dennis Royer (Charla) of Fredericktown, Steven Royer (Kim) of Fredericktown, Barb Matthews (Bill) and Brenda Miller (Harley) of Fredericktown; and his brother Louis Royer (Barbara) of Fredericktown. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; forty-nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (101 N Mine La Motte Ave, Fredericktown, MO 63645). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
