He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul McFerron and Bess McFerron; his siblings, Karen Kay Carruthers and Harvey F. McFerron; and his parents-in-law, Lester and Lena Smallen.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Fay McFerron (Smallen); his daughter Nancy L. McFerron (Cynthia Cavazos); his brother Tom K. McFerron; his sister-in-law Sharon McFerron (Harvey); his niece Julie Kay Sandweg (David); and his nephews, Sam McFerron (Melanie), Danny McFerron (Christine), Keith Wirtz, Bryan Wirtz (Martha), Steve Wirtz (Kristi) and Todd Smallen (Mell).
