She was predeceased by: her parents, Oather Byerley and Effey Byerley (Cannon); her husband Donald John Copeland Sr.; her children, Emmett Copeland Sr. and Sandra O'Brien; and her sister Myrtle Beeham.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Copeland Jr. of Richwoods, Carol Ridden of Villa Ridge and Mary Lou Hendrickson of Robertsville, Missouri; and her brother Fred Raymond Byerley Sr. (Sandy) of St. Louis County. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
