He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Crowell and Pearl Elizabeth Crowell (Sample); his brothers, Malcolm, Russell and Danny Crowell; his grandson Steven Crowell; and his former wife Carol Crowell (Martin).
He is survived by: his children, Mike Crowell (Debra Ann) of Patton, Lonnie II Crowell (Renee) of Fredericktown, James Crowell of Cape Girardeau and Sonya Stirnaman (Scott) of Chester, Illinois; and his siblings, Vonda Bingham of Fredericktown, Ronald Crowell (Nancy) of Fredericktown, Larry Crowell of Eolia and Keith Crowell of Fredericktown. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
