He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Edgar and Ruth Elizabeth Wisdom (Nimmo); and his brother Johnny Wisdom. He is survived by: his wife Mary Rebecca "Becki" Cannon; his children, Mark Wisdom (Becky) of Perryville, Rodney Wisdom of Perryville and Gabrielle Lowry (Brannan) of Jefferson City, Missouri; and his siblings, Danny Wisdom (Bonnie) of Fredericktown, Donna Pirtle (Jim) of Fredericktown and Lola McDowell of Perryville.
