She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon L. Smith and Dortha Smith (Riegert). She is survived by: her husband Jim Thal; her children, Matt Thal (Gretchen), Chaucy Schader, Colleen Gloe (Steve) and Crystal Bess (Rich); her brother Martin Smith; her grandchildren, Halee Miller (Ben), Kenny Schader, Carl Schader, Henry Schader, Madelyn Gloe, Audrey Masgio (Dominic), Chloe Bess, Maisie Bess, Ava Bess and Amelia Grace Thal; and her great grandchild Adi Jane Miller.
