He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Ira and Luaretta Moyers; his former wife Ruth Moyers (Johnson); his grandchildren, Gregory Moyers (Sarah) and Brandy Wimberley; his daughter-in-law Jimilee Moyers; his siblings, Charles Moyers, John Moyers, Audie Moyers, Wilburn Moyers, Novella Lunsford and Doretta Martin; his stepbrother Chuck Ross; and his stepdaughter Karen Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Moyers; his children, Richard Moyers and Sherry Nash (Brian); and his stepchildren, Jane Owens (Bob), Wayne Edwards and Lori Wimberley (Jimmy). He is also survived by grandchildren, thirty-six (36) great-grandchildren and one (1) great-great-grandchild.
