He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Gerald and Flossie Luevada Adams (Francis); and his siblings, Garry "Moon" Adams, Adrian Gail Adams and Diane Adams.

He is survived by: his close friend Joan; his daughter Michelle Dement of Fredericktown; his siblings, Larry "Ike" Adams of Wyoming and Joyce Jordan of Marshall, Missouri; his granddaughter Bobbi Nelson (Dallin); and his great grandchild Layla Nelson.
