He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd August and Cora Emily Durey (Rolfe); his wife Eva Marie Nihells; his children, Edie Gollings of California, Daren George Durey (Karla) of Michigan, Paulette Ashby of Illinois, Brenda Chuchawat (Scott) of Illinois and Lisa Brown (Paul) of Fredericktown; and his siblings, George Durey of Michigan and Shirley Thrall of California. He was also cherished by seventeen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
