She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie "Les" Schaefer and Myrtle Mae Schaefer (Perry); her son Kevin Casey; and her siblings, Terry Schaefer, Johnny Schaefer and Karen Martin.

She is survived by: her husband Bob Wright; her daughters, Karla Dussold (Alphonse) and Kathy Jaegers (Joe); her stepson Robert Allen (Corin); her grandchildren, Danielle Jaegers (Samuel Shaefer), Justin Burns (Michelle), Déna Hornbostel (Brian), Alyssa Jaegers and Austin Dussold; her stepgrandchildren, Hunter and Christian Allen; her siblings, Bill Schaefer, Jerry Schaefer (Sharron) and Leslie "Bud" Schaefer (Nora); and her close friend Wilma Lunsford.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Taylor Chapel (111 E Liberty St, Farmington, MO 63640). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
