He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Thomure and Helen Thomure; his siblings, Truman Thomure, Alfred Thomure (Bud), Lemon Thomure (Nick), Harry Thomure (Mano) and Phyllis Thomure; and his brother-in-law Daniel Tinsley (Boone).
He is survived by: his wife Paula Marie Thomure; his daughter Tonya Wood (Gary Sr.); his sisters, Glenda and Barbie Cover; his grandchild Tabby Freeland (Heath Jones); his stepgrandsons, Gary Wood and Josh Wood; and his great grandchild Dextra Quevreaux.
