He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Grindstaff and Mary Elizabeth Grindstaff (Howard); his wife Jennie Lurline Isle; his children, Jennie Lee Wood, Karen Schelker and Ronnie Dale; his grandson Lucas Grindstaff; his great grandchild Alexandria Wood; and his stepdaughter Diane Pickett.
He is survived by: his sons, Norman Grindstaff (Kathy) of Franklin, MO, Bill Grindstaff (Tracy) of Franklin, MO and Jeff Grindstaff (Kathleen) of Vienna, MO; and his brother Donald Grindstaff (Mary) of West Plains, MO.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
