He is survived by: his wife Jean M. Sampo; and his children, Forrest Ray Sampo (Stacy), Russell Lee Sampo, William Ira Sampo, Patrick Andrew Sampo (Tara), Brenda Jean Stockwell and Jody Lynn Sampo (Chris Summers). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
