He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Benoist, Thomas "Tater" Benoist, Bobby Benoist and Barbara Linderman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Wisdom-Benoist (Rolens); his stepsons, David Wisdom (Jerri) and Richard Wisdom (Krystal); his granddaughter Avery Wisdom; his stepgrandsons, Matthew Wheelis and Zachary Wheelis; and his half-sister Vera Brown (Adam). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
