She was predeceased by: her father Ernest J. Roy Sr.; her former husband Frederick Bennison of St. Petersburg, Florida; her husband Ernest Ascherman of Ossining; and her half-siblings, C. Hale MacIntyre of Suffield and Jean S. MacIntyre of Suffield.
She is survived by: her son Clinton; her daughter-in-law Linda Bennison of Saddlebrook, Missouri; her children, Scott Bennison of St. Joseph, Michigan and Kimberly Ali of Palm Harbor, Florida; her stepsons, Ernest Ascherman of Scarlet and Kirk Ascherman of Leesburg, Virginia; and her brother Ernest J. Roy Jr. (Norman C. Roy) of Suffield. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
