He is survived by: his children, David Ketchum (Charlotte), Patrick "Pat" Doherty (Janice), Pamela "Pam" Brown, Joie Foster, Nancy Westhoff (Bernie) and Joan Doherty. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dickey Funeral Homes (2401 E Mechanic St, Harrisonville, MO 64701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
