With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip Harter of Forsyth, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Phillip has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Harter and Mildred Harter (Keck). He is survived by: his brothers, Steven Harter of Branson, MO and Robert Harter Harter (Janie) of Butler, KY. He is also survived by three nieces, one nephew, and eight great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Ozarks Catholic Church (951 Swan Valley Dr, Forsyth, MO 65653). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Snapp Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Knights of Columbus Seminarian Support fund at 203 Vaughn Drive, Branson, MO 65616.

“So sorry for the loss of your brother, and family, he was such a kind man to me. He called me almost daily to be sure I was alright, and we occasionally took a drive and had a meal together. He was so appreciated by me. God used him and was a answer to my prayer, when I was asked to tend to all of your mother. This helped me in a way I could never give enough gratitude for. I prayed one day, and God answered by a need, and a call. A long story. Phil new it. He's missed. God Bless the Harter fami”
