He was predeceased by: his parents, Wynn Gardanier and Louise Gardanier; his son George Gardanier; his brother David Gardanier; his nephew Scott Gardanier; and his brother-in-law Donald Weidner.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his son Ron Gardanier; his granddaughter Amy Gardanier; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Weidner (Jan) and Ellen Weidner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
