It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mariam R. Ratliff of Forsyth, Missouri, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George R Norris and India Dowler Norris; her husband Elmer Ray Ratliff (Ray); and her siblings, Martha Chandler, Leonard Norris, James Marvin Norris, Dennis Norris and David Norris.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Dowell (Charles Dowell) of Forsyth, MO and Stephen Ratliff (Janis Ratliff) of Kansas City; her grandchildren, Fara Hill of Marceline, MO, Adam Dowell of Los Angeles, CA, Brett Dowell of Kansas City, MO, Katie Jo Harris of Houma, LA, Laura Ratliff of Kansas City, MO and Stephen Ratliff of Kansas City, MO.; her stepgrandchildren, Melanie Linville of Kansas City, MO., Derek Malone of Kansas City, MO., Jody Malone of Kansas City, MO., Casey Malone of Kansas City, MO. and Jessica Malone of Kansas City, MO.; and her brother Vernon Norris (Pam Norris) of Trenton, MO.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
