With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John L. Kartheiser of Forsyth, Missouri, born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kartheiser and Eunice Kartheiser (Ludwig); his brothers, Steve and Nicholas Kartheiser; and his godfather Leo Vogt.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his son John William Kartheiser; his siblings, William Kartheiser (Sharon), Donald Kartheiser (Jeanette), Mark Kartheiser, Julie Hilbert (Bill), Linda Steiner (Tom) and Amy Guerin (Eric); his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Kartheiser and Brenda Kartheiser; his godmother Joan Giesen; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Brewster (Frank) and Scott Gerner.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Ozarks Catholic Church (951 Swan Valley Dr, Forsyth, MO 65653). The military honors will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
