He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Bear and Zelma Bear (Buhrle); his sons, Brian and Bart Bear; and his sisters, Edna Bear and Elizabeth Kneisley.
He is survived by: his wife Judie Bear; his children, Brad Bear (Deb), Brett Bear and Kimberly Lenz (Jeff); and his siblings, Gale Bear and Dona Heyer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
