He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Alfred and Mary Margaret Silverest (Wilson); and his siblings, Thomas, Jack, Curtis, Ina May, Gloria, Marsha and Geri.
He is survived by: his wife Stella Silverest (Barker); his children, Keith Silverest (Jamie) of Clemmons, Kenneth Silverest of Forsyth, Charles Silverest (Paula) of Willard, Curtis Silverest (Elizabeth) of Sedalia, Missouri and Karrie Silverest of Springfield, Missouri; and his siblings, Richard Silverest (Shelba) of Colts and Carolyn Silverest of Fort Wayne, Indiana.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as numerous family and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel (16560 US-160, Forsyth, MO 65653).
