He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton William Jr. and Jean Allgood (Thomason); and his brother Brian Allgood. He is survived by: his former wife Susan Saalman; his wife Susan Allgood; his daughters, Jennifer Beck (Mark) of Rockford, IL and Kimberly Burgess (Tim) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Zachery Beck, Abigail Beck, Gabriel Burgess, Madelyn Beck, Emma Beck and Nathaniel Burgess; and his siblings, Bonnie Buchmeier of Jacksonville, FL, Bruce Allgood of Jacksonville, FL and Billy Allgood of Dunlap, TN..

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central Taney County Fire Fighters or Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church.
