He is survived by: his children, Mike Vohsen (Vickie), Todd Brockmeier (Georgia), Brent Tharin and Brenda Nowlin; his grandchildren, Andrea (Austin), Mike (Kim), John (Cindy), Laci, Brock, Colton, Madison, Casey, Danielle, Mathew, Keegan and Meagan; and his close friend Patricia Hayden. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
