He was predeceased by: his mother Dolores Howdeshell; and his father-in-law Hurley Carter. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Pollard (Carter); his children, Dawn Jones (Todd), Jayson Pollard (April) and Dayna Ebeling (Eric); his grandchildren, Garrett, Ava, Emmett Jones, Ainsley, Gabby, Bergen Pollard, Henry and Louis Ebeling; his stepfather Bob Howdeshell; and his siblings, Wayne Shafer (Pam), Doug Pollard, David Pollard (Pam), Dale Howdeshell, Brenda Emert, Elaine Howdeshell and Carla Skrivan (Dan).
