He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Sandy Garland; his parents, Hugo Steck and Bernell Garland; his children, Cindi Caldwell, Richard Eugene Garland (Gina), Fred Eugene Garland, Jr. and Christopher Gall; his grandchildren, Tricia, Chad, Ashley, Erin, Ridge and Coltin; and his siblings, Phyllis Sieben (Darrel) and Beverly.
Memorials may be made in Fred's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
