He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil and Matilda; his wife Mildred Dorman; his daughter Tracy Williams; and his grandchildren, Jason Dorman, Lacy Dorman and Cherri Heiliger.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Dorman (Susie), Peggy Heiliger, Joey Dorman (Tracy), Craig Dorman (Amy) and Angie Schone (Harold); his grandchildren, Heather, Candice, Phillip, Nick, Lisa, Cody, Austin, Josh, Diamond, Cameron, Aiden, Jacob, Corbin and Alliana; and his sister Dorothy Walker.
