He was predeceased by: his brother Harold Schaeffer. He is survived by: his former wife Jo Beth Shineman; his children, Ryan of Oregon, Missouri and Holly Sipes of Phoenix, Arizona; the mother of his children Jo Beth; his brothers, Donald Schaeffer (Jenny) of Forest City and Ralph Schaeffer of St. Joseph; his sister-in-law Janet Schaeffer of Phoenix; his grandchildren, Kamron, Kole, Christian, David, Devon, Ryan and Gabe; and his great grandchildren, Haven, Payton and Brantley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
