She is survived by: her husband Donald Schaeffer; her children, Byron Schaeffer (Kathryn) of Apex and Marcella Mae Schaeffer of Forest City; her sisters, Diane Baublit of St. Joseph and LaVita Wilson of St. Joseph; her brother-in-law Ralph Schaeffer of St. Joseph; and her grandchildren, Connor, Ethan and Ashlynn Schaeffer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
