It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Forest W. Woolsey of Forest City, Missouri, born in Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest W. Woolsey and Philomena "Minnie" Woolsey (Genise); his former wife Margaret White; his daughter Dana Woolsey; and his siblings, David, Benny and Charmayne.
He is survived by: his children, John "Bow" Steedley of Hamburg, Robert Frakes (Shelley) of Big Lake, Ed Woolsey (Patsy) of Forest City and Gina Grimes (Ron) of Oregon, Missouri. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
