She was predeceased by: her father Duane Edward Wills; her stepfather Bob Nelson; her grandparents, Horace Abraham, Irene (Reichardt), Alvin Morgan, John and Gladys Wills (Bloomquist); and her stepgrandparents, Martin Nelson, Lucille Getsinger (Thompson) and Joe Getsinger.
She is survived by: her mother Patricia "Pat" Ann Wills (Abraham); her former spouses, Gregg Allen Ruby and Zane Allen Walstrom; her husband Steve Stauffer; her children, Chris Ruby and Katie Whiteaker (Aaron); her siblings, Mark Nelson (Jan), Terri Stout (Mike), Steve Nelson (Christie) and Karen Phelon (Raylen); her grandsons, Kyler Ruby and Zane Whiteaker; her mother-in-law Rosemary "Rosie" Stauffer; and her sisters-in-law, Terry Jones (Dave) and Tammy Wilson (Ron). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Emporia Zoo or ALS, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home.
