He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Weddle and Gladys Basnett; his wife Karen Weddle; his daughters, Denise Welch, Paula Wood, Sherry Weddle and Peggy Sue Weddle; and his brother Larry Joe Weddle.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Weddle, Jr. (Michele), John Weddle (Amanda), Danny McCrite (Diana Hinkle), Sandra Johnson (Danny), Brenda Hammond (Eric) and Jerilie Marshall (Alan Cantrell); and his stepmother Dorothy Brackett. He is also survived by seven brothers and six sisters; nineteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
