She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Temmen and Marie Temmen (Wilde); her husband Raymond Strope; her parents-in-law, Ilde and Cecilia Strope; her granddaughter Nicole Marie Strope; her brothers, James (Dorothy Temmen) and Edward Temmen; her siblings-in-law, Roger Strope, Harold Rackers, Kent Copenbarger and Mildred Sebben; and her nephews, Greg and Chad Temmen.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda (Thermal Stewart) of Lee's Summit, Brian Strope of Folk and Michael Strope (Irene) of Folk; her grandchildren, Kurt Strope (Emily), Corey Strope (Chelsea), Aaron Strope (Megan), Ryan Strope, Jason Strope and Cody Strope; her stepgrandchildren, Sharon Ivy (Kevin) and Craig Stewart (Kim); her sister Carolyn Lueckenhoff (August); and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Temmen and Ruth Copenbarger. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Trimble Funeral Homes - Westphalia (1941 US Hwy 63, Westphalia, MO 65085). A prayer was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 4:45 PM at the Trimble Funeral Homes – Westphalia (1941 US Hwy 63, Westphalia, MO 65085). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (255 Hwy Ee, Westphalia, MO 65085).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
