He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Kempker; his sisters, Darlene Welschmeyer and Dawn Ramos; and his niece Ivy Kempker. He is survived by: his mother Rose Ann Kempker (Veit); his children, James Kempker (Valerie) of Belle, MO, Megan Kane (Patrick) of Kansas City, MO and Sarah Kempker (Kenny Jones) of Kansas City, MO; his close friend Cindy James; his grandchildren, Gavin Kempker, Dominic Kempker and Cora Kane; and his siblings, Deborah Thompson, Diane Morgan (Raymond), David Kempker, Dwayne Kempker (Tanya), Doris West, Donna Kesel and Delores "Lynn" Kempker.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trimble Funeral Homes - Westphalia (1941 US Hwy 63, Westphalia, MO 65085). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (255 Hwy Ee, Westphalia, MO 65085).
