He is survived by: his grandchildren, Heidi Heinlein (James Murphy), William Heinlein, Robert Heinlein, Daniel Heinlein (Suzanne Panos), Kristina Wehr (John) and Michael Heinlein (Gabrielle); and his daughter-in-law Sandra Heinlein. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren.
