He is survived by: his children, Mary Claire Ann Gorman and Stephen John Dvorak (Connie Risby); his grandchildren, Claire Marie Gorman and Charles Patrick Gorman; his child-in-law Terry Gorman; his granddaughter-in-law Katie Joyce; his stepfather John Otto Kujath; and his stepbrother Robert Zoeller.
